The Appropriations Committee of the Pyramid Lake Paiute Tribe is comprised of administrative personnel and is charged with monitoring the overall finances and budgeting of the tribal government and all its programs and departments.  The Committee is comprised of the Tribal Chairman, Vice-Chairman, Tribal Administrator, Tribal Secretary, Contracts & Grants Administrator, Human Resources Manager, Comptroller, and Tax Administrator.

 

In its official capacity, the Committee conducts ongoing reviews of all budgets of the Tribe to ensure compliance with funding levels, addressing fiscal integrity issues, and coordinating the annual budgetary and appropriations process of the Tribe to ensure a balanced operating budget every fiscal year.  The Committee is currently coordinated by the Contracts & Grants Administrator.

Budget packages must be completed in their entirety.  Refer to Budget Instructions for deadline date.  Failure to follow instructions or complete all required sections correctly will result in the return of your package for corrections.  COMPLETED Budget packages must be submitted to the following e-mail address:

The Pyramid Lake Paiute Tribe conducts an annual budgetary process designed to provide an overall outline of the funding sources and needs of programs, as well as the goals and objectives for the programs in the upcoming year.  This process allow the Tribe to plan and allocate its resources to those programs that provide a benefit to the Tribe, its members, and the Reservation.
