MISSION STATEMENT:

The Pyramid Lake Paiute Tribal Maintenance Department works to provide professional, technical and non-technical support and maintenance service to all the Tribal programs to create and maintain comfortable, safe, clean working environments. The Pyramid Lake Paiute Tribal Maintenance Department maintains/manages the Pyramid Lake Tribal facilities and grounds through efficient utilization of available resources to ensure that the Pyramid Lake Paiute Tribe can fulfill its mission.

The Pyramid Lake Paiute Tribal Maintenance Department is responsible for the preservation and upkeep of all buildings that includes:

Maintenance and custodial staff are employed through this department with the exception of the Nixon Visitor CenterlMuseum and the Pyramid Lake Health Care Center Staff. The Tribal maintenance staff consists of two Maintenance II workers and one custodial worker.

Not to lose their valuable resources, the Tribal Maintenance Department will develop a system to monitor and keep track of the routine, deferred and preventative maintenance required and completed. This includes the tracking of work orders and materials inventory used for the Tribal departments. Work orders can be submitted to the maintenance department through the front office desk (775-574-1000), Tribal Administrator (ext. 125), or to Tribal Facilities Manager (775-574-1035).
